Position Overview: We are seeking a strategic and hands-on General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure an exceptional client experience across all touch points. The GM will serve as the operational heartbeat of the store, managing inventory flow, team scheduling, vendor relations, and customer service, while also supporting events, marketing, and long-term planning.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the daily operations of the retail shop and e-commerce platform Supervise and support sales and floor staff to achieve sales and service goals Oversee inventory tracking, purchasing, receiving, and product data accuracy Work closely with ownership on buying, budget management, and performance analysis Maintain high visual and operational standards across the store Serve as a liaison with suppliers, distributors, and logistics partners Help plan and execute in-store tastings, private events, and client outreach Ensure a polished and efficient customer experience in-store and online Identify opportunities to grow revenue, improve efficiency, and enhance brand presence
Qualifications: 3–5+ years in wine retail, distribution, hospitality, or operations Strong knowledge of fine and collectible wine Management experience and a passion for building team culture Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient in POS systems & inventory software Able to lift and move wine boxes (up to 30 lbs) and work weekends as needed Self-starter with a calm, professional demeanor and a customer-first mindset
